Q1: How did you get into dancing?
CS: I have a very arty family. My mom owned a dance studio when I was younger and I started dancing at her studio from the moment I could walk.
Q2: What style do you enjoy and are there any styles you struggle with?
CS: I love contemporary, ballet and tap while I am not the greatest at street hip hop but I am working on it. ?
Q3: Talk us through your training sessions?
CS: Training session begin with a warm up and stretch for a good 30/45 min. We will then do a few technical exercises. If it is game week then we will place the girls in the game and run the routine for the weekend. Nicola chooses her captains and we run around the field routines in our groups. If it’s not game week we work on new choreography and we always end our session with a prayer. ❤
Q4: What does it mean to you when you dance at Loftus Versfeld?
CS: Oh gosh, it’s one of the most beautiful “stages”. Dancing at Loftus, representing a global brand, it’s phenomenal and it means a great deal to me.
Q5: What do you do besides from being a Vodacom Bulls Babe?
CS: I’m a full time performer. I dance at corporate events and in theatrical shows while I’m attending lessons for singing for musicals too. I am also a coach at Shablam dance academy which I absolutely love.
Q6: Do you believe dance can change the world for the better and if so, why?
CS: Of course, how often have you seen people come together just to dance? Dancing lifts people up and makes people smile. Smiling itself can change the world.
