Tickets for the Springboks’ highly anticipated home Tests against Ireland, Portugal, New Zealand and Argentina – priced from R150 to R300 and R350 – will take the local rugby market by storm in March, only a few days before the double Rugby World Cup-champions host their first alignment camp.
Two weeks after launching their 2024 season against Wales at Twickenham, the Boks will take on Ireland in two Tests in the Castle Lager Incoming Series, with tickets going on sale on 4 March – for the Test in Tshwane (6 July) – and 11 March – for the clash in Durban (13 July) – through Ticketpro.
This will be followed by their historic first Test against Portugal in Bloemfontein on Saturday 20 July in their closing match of the midyear series. Tickets will be available for the clash at Toyota Stadium from 22 March, also on Ticketpro.
The Springboks will continue their season in August with the Castle Lager Rugby Championship when they travel to Australia for back-to-back Tests against the Wallabies before hosting arch-rivals New Zealand in Johannesburg (31 August) and Cape Town (7 September).
The team will then travel to Argentina for their penultimate match of the tournament before wrapping up their campaign against Los Pumas on Saturday 28 September in Nelspruit.
The “Battle of Mbombela” against Argentina will be the first tickets to hit the market on Friday 13 March (on Computicket), while tickets for the clashes against New Zealand at Emirates Airline Park and DHL Stadium will go in sale in April.
Supporters wishing to see the Boks in action this year are urged to keep their eyes on SA Rugby’s social media pages as well as those of the hosting unions, and are yet again warned to only buy from official outlets and not websites such as Viagogo.
FNB clients and DSTV subscribers have “early bird” pre-sale windows before tickets go on general sale for all the Springbok Tests. Apart from normal tickets, hospitality deals are also available, as well as various tour packages through SA Rugby Travel.
