“It is all systems go for the opening test match of the 2023 Castle Lager Rugby Championship in the Capital. We absolutely cannot wait to welcome the 50 000 rugby fans to our fortress, for what will be a fun-filled family day of rugby” comments BBCo Operations Manager, Hugo Kemp, on the eve of the sold-out South Africa and Australia bout.

“We would like to once again remind fans across the province, the country, that the match is sold out and the only accredited ticket retailer is TicketPro and no one else. We strongly advise against the purchase of tickets from third-party channels that claim to be accredited. These tickets will lead to disappointment and a loss of money,”

“We understand that there is quite a great deal of the fear of missing out from a lot of our rugby fans but we urge them to avoid buying tickets from these platforms with the hopes of bypassing our platforms, we have personnel on standby to refer these fraudulent tickets to authorities.”

Loftus will be a hype of activity from as early as 13h00 in the afternoon, with the beer garden and food courts serving refreshments as we all countdown to kickoff.

There is ample information, digitally available, for all those who will be visiting the home of rugby in the Highveld, on Saturday. Fans are urged to familiarise themselves with all the latest information – using the links provided below – and plan their day accordingly.

“We cannot wait to welcome every single one of our guests tomorrow and make it a special afternoon where we come together, uniting aloud in one voice behind the Boks” concludes Kemp.

Fans are also reminded of the Loftus emergency line, which may be used at any point where they need emergency support or need to report an incident. The helpline number is: 076 524 7590 – which may be used to send a WhatsApp message too.
