Covid-19 put all sports on hold resulting in the end of an era for Vodacom Super Rugby.
As the country was moving slowly into level one, Rugby fans were delighted at the return of local rugby. This meant their favourites were back in actions and they had something to look forward to for the weekend.
Due to the lockdown regulations, there are no fans allowed at the stadiums, and players have had a tough time adjusting to the new environment with no fans, no cheers and no vibrant energy flowing through the stadium.
The Vodacom Bulls need you to add your voice to the #BullsFamilyVoice campaign. This campaign aims to involve all rugby fans to come together and clap and cheer for the players.
Fans are urged to send a 10-15 second voice note, either via direct messaging (DM) on any of our social platforms or WhatsApp a voice note to 072 873 6086.
The individual voice notes will be edited together with thousands of others to form a unified voice of LOFTUS VERSFELD.
World Cup winner and Vodacom Bulls captain, Duane Vermeulen, has jumped on board and has put a call to action for all rugby fans to participate and have their voices heard.
“There’s nothing worse than playing your heart out in an empty stadium. To say that we miss the fans is an understatement. The #BullsFamilyVoice is a great initiative that allows us to engage fans and to get back into the spirit of rugby. South Africans have proven to be great team players and with this campaign we want to challenge them to be part of the crowd and have their voices heard. It doesn’t feel good knowing that there are fake crowd effects in stadium, the thought of hearing our own peoples voices will certainly pick us up.”
Your voice will be heard!
