Springbok star and club captain, Lusanda Dumke returns to action this weekend as the Bulls Daisies prepare to take on the noisy neighbours, in the form of the Mastercard Golden Lions. The two Jukskei rivals will meet in round six of the 2023 SA Rugby Women’s Premier Division competition.
The Tshwane-based outfit will welcome its visitors, for their very first fixture as a professional outfit, to Loftus Versfeld Stadium. Kick-off for this auspicious meeting is set for 13h00pm and the action will be streamed through the SuperSport Schools App.
Head coach, Hayden Groepes, has made four changes with the most notable being the return of his influential captain, Dumke, who is set to have a run from the bench.
Groepes has opted to keep his front row unchanged after their impressive run against Province in round five of the competition.
At the back, the Bulls Daisies mentor has brought Rumandi Potgieter up to the starting xv, slotting in at scrum-half with Mahlatse ‘Lucky’ Nkumishe getting a call-up to the impact squad. Elsewhere, the only changes to the matchday 23 are that of Rachelle du Plessis and Faith Tsauke being called up for duty and set for a run from the impact squad.
