Loftus will be a hype of activity this weekend with a double bill on the cards as both the women’s and men’s teams are in action in two crunch matches with potential influence on the log standings. There will also be a host of activities across the stadium precinct as the franchise celebrates kids with an all-out #LoftusKidsTakeover-themed weekend.
- The biggest takeover, EVER!
- Free entrance for kids under 18
- Tickets start at R 50.00c and are available from Tickepro only
- Kid MC, Kid DJ, Kid Dancers, and overall Kiddies led entertainment
- The biggest kids’ play park with giant inflatables and prizes to be won
The stadium will have an unreserved seating arrangement to allow families to sit as groups since children under the age of 18 will be entering for free. The tickets can be collected at the stadium from the blue containers located at the North and Southern entrances of the stadium, and this can be done on matchday or during the week. Families are encouraged to arrive early to avoid any delays.
Season ticket holders will have their seats reserved as per norm and families are requested to avoid using those seats with reserved indicators on them.
IT’S CRUNCH TIME!
There is much to be excited about on the field as there is off the field this weekend, with two matches across two competitions.
The Women’s Premier Division champions, the Bulls Daisies will welcome rivals from the West, the Sanlam Boland Dames for round 5 of the competition. Both teams are undefeated thus far in the season, separated only by a points difference and that makes for a tantalising clash on the cards between two try-scoring teams.
The 1 versus 2 clash will kick off at 10h45am.
In the Vodacom United Rugby Championship, the Vodacom Bulls welcome table-topping Glasgow Warriors in round 16 of the league as both sides look to cement top spots on the log heading into the final eight.
The result of the encounter has many permutations as the playoffs race heats up. The South African outfit will be looking for a full house of points, separated by seven to their guests whilst the Scottish outfit will be looking to stretch the gap between them and Irish giants, Leinster who will host the Ospreys. Points for the Vodacom Bulls would also manage the gap between them and defending champions, Munster who will be home to Connacht.
The scene is set for a mouth-watering affair not to be missed! Franco Smith’s side comes into the match having won four of their last five outings but they are going to have a tough time in the park against Jake White’s chargers who are inspired to secure home playoffs.
FUN GALORE
