The Vodacom Bulls have returned to Loftus Versfeld after their four week tour of Australasia and have begun their preparations for their final regular season match against the Emirates Lions on Saturday, 15 June 2019.

Unfortunately, the draw against the Highlanders was a costly one as both Schalk Brits and Marco van Staden left the field with concussion. They have started their Return to Play protocol and a decision on their availability will be made later in the week.

The squad has been bolstered by the return of Rosko Specman and Warrick Gelant for their respective hamstring injuries while Jesse Kriel has recovered from his ankle injury.

Marnitz Boshoff has successfully completed two SuperSport Rugby Challenge matches and has done well after recovering from his knee injury.

The players still on the injury list are Paul Schoeman (hamstring – 8 weeks) and Lood de Jager (shoulder).
