The Vodacom Blue Bulls have three new injury concerns after their Currie Cup match against DHL Western Province last weekend.
Prop Matthys Basson left the field with a Grade 3 AC joint injury. He will most likely be out for the remainder of the Currie Cup season and will consult with a specialist in Cape Town on Monday to determine the way forward.
Flank Wian Vosloo injured his rib in the first half and was still in quite a bit of pain on Monday morning. He will most likely not be available for selection this weekend.
Flank Roelof Smit hurt his neck and was sent off for a concussion test. His neck is feeling a lot better and he passed the concussion test this morning and should fall into training as of Tuesday.
On a positive note, scrumhalf Marco Jansen van Vuren has recovered fully from the surgery for his pectoral injury and started training on Monday.
