The Vodacom Bulls Under-20 side returned with a satisfactory 31-33 victory over the Cell C Sharks Under-20 in Durban in their SA Rugby Under-20 Championship Round 2 encounter on Saturday.

Following a disappointing opening fixture where they went down 30-32 to the Lions Under-20 side in Pretoria the week before.

In the action at Jonsson Kings Park, the Vodacom Bulls U20 side scored a total of five tries, with three being converted, while the home side responded with four converted tries and a penalty.

Despite the Cell C Sharks U20’s defeat, the Durban-based side remained at the top of the log after the first two rounds, with the Vodacom Bulls U20 side moving to third position. The two sides are separated by the Leopards U20 team.

The Vodacom Bulls U20 will next face the Toyota Free State U20 outfit at Loftus B-field in Round 3 of the SA Rugby Under-20 Championship on August 27.
