The FNB Maties Young Guns ran rampant in their 47-16 (half-time 21-8) drubbing of the FNB UP-Tuks Young Guns on TuksRugby B-Field on Monday afternoon.
The youngsters from Stellenbosch enjoyed a dominant position throughout the match as they crossed the whitewash seven times.
Flyhalf Christopher Schreudar bagged four tries and kicked six conversions for a personal tally of 32 points while scrumhalf Luciano Els, prop Ronan Witten and replacement loose forward Curtleigh Tobias also scored tries.
The FNB UP-Tuks juniors struggled to keep up with the tempo of the match and could not break their Cape opponents wall effectively.
Wing Ewan Botha dotted down twice while flyhalf Edmund Ludick landed two penalty goals but it was not even close to damaging the FNB Maties Young Guns’ margin with the visitors securing a comfortable 47-16 win in Pretoria.
