The #BullsFamily regretfully confirms that young Vodacom Bulls prop, Simphiwe Matanzima, sustained a complete tear of his Achilles tendon during a conditioning session.
He underwent successful surgery on Friday morning, and even though we expect him to make a full recovery, he will be out for an extended duration, which may last up to 9 months.
It’s a long road to recovery, but we have no doubt that he will tackle it head on with a positive energy and come out smiling as he always does.
